OBJECTIVES
 To emphasize the repentance is one of the condition for entering the
kingdom of God.
 To witness to the unfailing mercy of God for the conversion of all
people.
 To show respect for the devotion of the sacred heart of Jesus and
learn to forgive others too.

 CONVERSION
 BAPTISM is the principal place for the first and fundamental
foundation. It is by faith in the gospel and by baptism that the one
renounce evil and gains salvation, that is, the forgiveness of sins and
the gift of new life.
The repentance needed for the kingdom of God demands a total
personal conversion, a change of lifestyle and priorities.
 We first have to acknowledge our sinfulness, then we are assured of
God’s mercy.
Interior penance is a radical reorientation of our whole life, a return, a
conversion to God with all our hearts, and end of sins, a returning away
from evil, will repugnance toward the evil action we have committed.
At same time it entails the desire and resolution to change one’s life,
with hope in God’s mercy and trust in the help of his grace.
INTEGRATION:
Gods forgiving mercy does not really penetrate our heart unless we
realize our own sinfulness and joyfully accept God’s forgiveness
through the sacrament of Reconciliation find the strength and courage
to forgive those who have offended us our forgiveness of one another
is so important that Jesus made it the condition even for authentic
work ship of his father.
