CAREERS RELATED TO PHARMACY
• Biochemists and Biophysicists
• Biochemists and biophysicists study the chemical and physical principles of living
things and of biological processes, such as cell development, growth, heredity, and
disease.
• Medical Scientists
• Medical scientists conduct research aimed at improving overall human health. They
often use clinical trials and other investigative methods to reach their findings.
• Pharmacy Technicians
• Pharmacy technicians help pharmacists dispense prescription medication to
customers or health professionals.
• Physicians and Surgeons
• Physicians and surgeons diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses. Physicians
examine patients; take medical histories; prescribe medications; and order,
perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. They counsel patients on diet,
hygiene, and preventive healthcare. Surgeons operate on patients to treat
injuries, such as broken bones; diseases, such as cancerous tumors; and
deformities, such as cleft palates.
• Registered Nurses
• Registered nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients
and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and
emotional support to patients and their family members.

• A letter of application, also known as a cover letter, is a


document sent with your resume to provide additional
information about your skills and experience to an
employer. The letter of application is intended to provide
detailed information on why you are are a qualified
candidate for the job.
WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR COVER LETTER

As with all cover letters, a job application letter is divided into sections: 1
• The heading, which includes your name and contact information.
• A greetings addressed to a specific person, if possible.
• The introduction, which should include why the applicant is writing.
• The body, which discusses your relevant qualifications.
• The close, which thanks the reader and provides contact information and
follow-up details.
• Your signature to end the letter

• Begin your letter gretting with “Dr./Mr./Ms. Last name”
• If you do not know the employer’s name, simply write “dear hiring manager”

BODY LETTER
• First paragraph “explain why you are writing”
• Middle paragraph “state what you have to offer the employer”’

SIGNATURE
End your cover letter with your signature, handwritten, followed by
your type name.

Salutation
• Dear Dr./Mr./Ms. Last name or dear hiring manager
• Follow the person’s with comma or colon then skip a line
Body of email cover letter
• The body of your cover lets the employer know what position you are applying for
• Why the employer should select you for an interview, and how you will follow up

First paragraph
• Why you are writing, mention the position you are applying for and how you found the
job posting
• If you were referred by a contact, mention the person

Middle paragraph
• Describe what you have to offer the employer
• Do not copy information within your resume precisely
Conclusion
• If you have attached your resume, mention it in his paragraph. Then conclude
your cover letter by thanking the employer for considering you for the
position
