CPD(Continually Professional
Development)
 It is defined under the CPD Act of 2016 as
the inculcation of advanced knowledge, skills
and ethical values in a post-licensure
specialization or in an inter-or
multidisciplinary field of today.
 It means continually updating your skills and
knowledge in order to remain professionally
competent to achieve your true potential.

 Knownas “Continuing Professional
Development”(CPD) Act of 2016
 The law was enacted on July 21, 2016
 Implementedby the Senate of the Philippines on
March 15, 2017.
A bill requiring professionals to undergo further
formal and informal learning programs before
they can renew their license.
