THE PLOT:

Library brings to life the silent flirtation of two teens connecting over a
Coca-Cola while studying in a quiet library. They pass the boring
study time by using their ink pins to draw characters on their hands
and arms. The boy then draws a Coke bottle on his arm and in
response the girl pens a glass with ice cubes on hers. The drawings
come to life as they reach across the table and touch hands as the now
animated Coca-Cola pours out of the bottle drawing, down the guy’s
arm onto the girl’s hand and into the glass she has drawn. They share a
laugh. The spot reinforces how sharing a Coca-Cola connects people
and brings a moment of happiness to an otherwise ordinary situation.
 MY ANALYSIS:

By this advertisement , coca cola tries to attract the mass

audience-TEENAGERS. They’ve used a library to shoot the
add so that students relate to it.
Also, a lot of creativity is used behind it. The use of hands
has never been so interesting . Simply by the use of a black
ball pen , the characters portray a very simple conversation
, which is well appreciated by the target audience.
There’s a lot of flow , movement and rhythm in this
advertisement .
I think there is a hidden message in this
advertisement which tries to concentrate on the
minority groups. People who feel inferior find hard
to communicate with people around them . There
could be many reason’s for it, and most of them
could be categorized under one word-
INFERIORITY COMPLEX.
And here ART plays a major role . One can always
commute with one’s strengths. Here the characters
commute through art.
Also , people with common interests tend to socially
gel and mix together . This is also shown in this
advertisement that people with a similar mindset
,art in this context , generally are comfortable with
each other.
