Canton Cotton- Heavier cotton that is found in sweaters

Cotton Twill- lighter flannel-like cotton, good for fall

French Terry Cotton- slightly heavier than cotton twill,
soft and has a short nap
Honey Comb Cotton- lightweight type of cotton that
dries quickly

Types of Cotton Fabric
Knitted Cotton Fabric -
Used for manufacturing T-shirts.
Machines with needles are employed to grab the yarn and
create a series of stitches.
These stitches are the ones which form this soft and stretchable
fabric.
Woven Cotton Fabric -
Cotton fabric is done by the use of a loom and a shuttle.
Non-woven Cotton Fabric -
Fabric is created using heat or chemicals to hold the fibres in
place
