Day One: Presentation of the
subject
This class will allow you to know and understand the electronic
transaction process, as well as its application in the business field in
a globalized era filled with technological advances.
This class will also analize the characteristics, advantages and
limitations e-commerce has and its repercusions as a business-
making tool.
Day One: Objectives
GENERAL:
Evaluation of opportunities and applications of e-commerce in Ecuador
and all over the world.
SPECIFIC:
• Understand and analyze legal parameters that internet businesses
deal with.
• Develop techniques and tools for future virtual negociations.

• Know about the correct use of the law and the e-commerce rule book.
• Determine the benefits that virtual transactions generate locally and
globally.
• Analyze barriers and/or limitations e-commerce has in different
countries.
• Determine the advantages and disadvantages of online transactions
inside different markets.

• Relate to the e-commerce legal framework and its application.
• Know factors that intervene in e-commerce dynamics globally.
• Contrast knowledge of conventional commerce and e-commerce.
• Analyze the benefits and disadvantages of technological trends
through the web.
