Insurance

Insurance Board is a line agency of Nepal Government, established to


regularize, systematize and develop insurance sector.
It issues, renews, dismisses the licenses of insurance companies,
insurance surveyors and insurance agents and supervise them.
While the Nepal Rastra Bank regulates banks and financial institutions,
the insurance businesses are regulated by the Insurance Board of
Nepal.
These regulators regularly publish directives and circulars that are often
influenced by the political, social and economic factors.
Insurance
Insurance is a means of protection from financial loss.
A person or entity who buys insurance is known as an insured or
policyholder.
The insured receives a contract, called the insurance policy, which
details the conditions and circumstances under which the insurer will
compensate the insured.
Surveyor is the person who on behalf of company reassure the loss once
again.
Insurance coverage is the amount of risk or liability that is covered.
Insurance Premium is the installment paid by policyholder.

under the event of his/her death .

Non Life Insurance contract regarding to other then life
