■ Planning involes collecting all necessary
information and dertermining what the
assessment requirements are and how the
procedure will be conducted.
1. Determining the Purpose
■ To discover the current status of student’s
knowledge and understanding
■ To solve problem in our teaching
■ To give learners feedback on their progress
2. Developing Specifications
■ To ensure that a test or assessment measurss
the content and thinking skills tjat the test
intends to measure
■ Measureto identify the achievement
domains being measured and to ensure that
a fair and representative sample of
questions appear on the test.
3. Selecting appropriate test item
■ Multple- choice test item
■ True or False test item
■ Matching Type test item
■ Fill in the Blank test item
4. Preparing relevant test items
■ Write test items according to rules of
construction for the type(s) chosen.
■ Select the item to be included according to
the table of specifications.
