Step 1 before

– Have a place to go we're all your family or friends know that you're going to be
– Download or get an app that can show you if there's going to be severe weather
– Always keep a supply bag and first aid kit at the house
– Put up shutters and sandbag around the house to lessen property damage
Step 2 during

– Me at the designated meet zone


– check for any updates on weather bug app
– make sure to have supplies kits and med kit
– count everyone that one with you
Step 3 after

– Check house for any damages


– make sure nobody is hurt
– do a body count
– Listen for updates

1. How will you get the latest weather warnings? Through a warning on my phone From an app called
weather bug.
2. How will you receive critical instructions for protecting your home? I would check local news stations
and Look on national websites For hurricane readiness tips.
3. What is your evacuation plan? My family's evacuation plan is if it gets too serious, we can either go
to or my dad lives in Colorado or too my house in North Carolina.

4. Describe the costs and benefits of your weather safety plan. My weather safety plan will cost an
average of 857 Including if you bring four people with you.
5. If you needed to prepare for a different severe weather event, what parts of your safety plan would
change? I need to change for  A different weather event would be if there Is a drought, I would add a
mass number of bottled waters and Fire extinguishers if fire breaks due to the plants drying and limit water
usage.
