Imagine, you are accepted to work in a hospital, and this is your
first day to work and meet your colleagues (co-work).
What people usually do when they meet new colleagues?
● Asking for name: What’s your name?
● Asking for condition: How are you?
● Origin: Where are you from?
● Division: What is your division? Which division you work?

Hello my name is Jack. I am a lab technician in a state hospital in
Bandung.
And this is my friend, Marian. She works in the same hospital as
me.
We also work in the same lab division.

Practice
1. Mereka bicara sama saya tentang masalah mereka. They talk to me about their
problem.
2. Santi memasak mie instan untuk dirinya sendiri bukan untuk saya. Santi cooks
instant noodle for herself not for me.
3. Kalau kamu mencari peta, kamu bisa menemukannya di dalam ransel. If you
search for a map, you can find it in your backpack.
4. Bob memberi saya nasi padang, tapi saya berikan lagi ke mereka. Bob gives me
Padang rice, but I give it to them.
5. Aku duduk di lab komputer, tapi dia (L) tidak duduk di hatiku. I sit down in the
computer lab, but he doesn’t sit down in my heart.
6. Ibu saya menonton Ikatan Cinta setiap hari. My mother watches Ikatan Cinta
every day.
7. Saya dan teman saya pergi ke bank untuk memperbaiki nama rekening. My
friend and I go to the bank to mend bank account name.
