Present simple = routines and repeating actions.
Present continuous = actions happening in the moment we talk
Sentences in present continuous usually contain expressions as now and at the moment.
We’re having dinner now.
What are you doing at the moment?
Sentences in present simple usually include frequency adverbs.
We often have dinner at 7.00 p.m.
What do you usually do on Saturdays?
Watch out! Verbs such as think, like, love, hate and want cannot be used in present continuous.
I think sport is fun. We like football.
NO I’m thinking sport is fun. We’re liking football.

countables in plural and uncountables. There are some chairs / There is some fruit.
In interrogative sentences- for offers- Would you like some tea?

-NINGÚN/UNA, NADA DE- In negative and interrogative sentences. Also with countable
nouns in plural and with uncountables. I haven’t got any sisters or brothers./ They haven’t
got any money.
-ALGÚN/UNA, ALGO DE- Are there any biscuits?/ Have you got any sugar?

To ask for the quantity of something we use:


How many for countables in plural - How many bags are there?
How many for uncountables- How much tea do you need?
● When we use the Verb TO BE we ask for the price of something.- How much is it?

The comparative form of adjectives is used to compare two elements, people, things or places.
In the comparative form we have to put THAN after the adjective.

Adjectives in the superlative form are used to express that something stands out over the
rest.
We have to add the article THE before the adjective in the superlative form.
