ORGANIZATION OF SPECIAL SCIENCE CLASS

• Type B school (regular secondary schools that offer SSC)


• The identified secondary schools have one (1) class in each of the curriculum year levels
offering SSC.
• There will be 35 students per class.
• Elective subjects will be Environmental Science and Research for Grade 7,
Biotechnology and Research for Grade 8, Consumer Chemistry and Research for Grade 9
and Advanced Physics and Research for Grade 10

• July 15, 2021- Incoming Grade 8

PROCESS

• There will be 8 classrooms to be occupied by 12 learners for the examination.


• A 3-hour test will be provided from 8:00 AM- 11:00 AM with a 15-minute break.
• Use pencil in answering the test. Answer sheets will be provided.
• Chaperones will stay in a designated place.
• Wearing of facemask and observance of social distancing are strictly imposed.

• Assessment of Multiple Intelligence will be done after the BSE-Prepared test (1:00 PM)
• A group of evaluators will facilitate the MI assessment (Verbal-Linguistic, Mathematical-
Logical, Naturalistic, Bodily Kinesthetic, Musical Rhythmic, Visual-Spatial, Interpersonal
and Intrapersonal Intelligences)
• A 15-minute time is allotted for every evaluator in each classroom.
• Rubrics will be used to evaluate the Multiple Intelligences.
