Misconduct

If a player is behaving in a way that the umpire believes

is against the Laws of Badminton, the umpire has a
standard procedure to obey. The yellow card dictates a
Warning for misconduct, a red card indicates Fault for
misconduct, and the black card signifies Disqualified for
misconduct. The gesture of misconduct is the raise of the

The game will begin when the
players have taken their respective
positions. Once the players are
ready, hand gestures will form a
wave-like pattern which is headed
towards the area to service.
