CLAUSULAS RELATIVAS
Una forma de definir cosas, especialmente en la escritura
académica, es a través de las cláusulas relativas. Una
cláusula relativa, como un adjetivo, añade información
extra o esencial al nombre y nos dice más precisamente
qué es algo o alguien. Una cláusula relativa es un grupo de
palabras con un sujeto y un verbo que contiene
información importante o adicional acerca de una persona,
una cosa, un lugar, etc. para ayudar a identificar a quién o
qué nos estamos refiriendo. La cláusula relativa está unida
a una cláusula principal por el who o that para personas y
which o that para cosas.
PRONOMBRES RELATIVOS
Usamos pronombres relativos cuando
queremos dar más información sobre  la
persona ‘WHO’ o cosa ‘WHICH’ de la que
hablamos. Sin esa información, la oración en
lugar de estar con una sola idea, estaría con
oraciones (en lugar de una), o sencillamente
no tendría sentido.
She is my daughter. She is 5 years old.

WHO (PARA PERSONAS)
 That’s the woman who stole my purse.
 I never met someone who didn’t like music.
 My sister, who just moved in with me, is looking
for a job.
 I knew who did it.
 There are many Americans who can speak
Japanese.
 We need someone who has some experience in
administration. 
WHICH (PARA COSAS / ANIMALES)
o These shoes, which I bought last week, are very
uncomfortable.
o I don't know which book to choose. 
o This is the cat which I adopted.
o Can you tell me which button to press?
o Tom has a house which has two rooms.
o I received a letter which was written by her.
WHO or WHICH
1. He wore a mask ______ was very expensive.

frightened.
