Mode of Transportation: Private Car (to be driven by husband to the
hospital on the due date)
Maternal Expectation during Delivery: Expects the delivery process to
be an important milestone in life. Excited to become a mother.
 CARE AND SUPPORT
Would like partner to be patient at all times
Doesn’t mind being induced if medically necessary
Would like a female-only care
Doesn’t want medical students present during labor
 PAIN RELIEF
Pain relief as advised by medical staff
Doesn’t mind epidural
Would like to try aromatherapy
Episiotomy if only absolutely necessary
For assisted delivery: medical staff to make the choice
Caesarean if it is absolutely medically necessary
IMMEDIATELY AFTER BIRTH
Umbilical cord to be cut by partner
