What is Religion?
Religion – is a set of cultural beliefs and
practices.

We can define or associate ourselves based on

our strong belief in our spiritual self.

religious have higher self esteem and better
psychological adjustment.
What is Rituals?
- This a set of behaviours that we exhibit
based on our religious beliefs.
- our behaviour is sometimes affected when
we try to express our spiritual self.

Christianity
- Christianity believe that God is present in the
world in the person of Jesus Christ of Nazareth
- We believe that Jesus Christ died on the
cross to save us.
- We believe God as Trinity: The Father, Son
and Holy Spirit.
Islam
What is the belief of Islam?

Islam is an Arabic word which means willing

submission to God. The root of the word Islam
comes from a word meaning peace.

Islam believed in one God and Mohammed is
the last and final prophet.

Their holy book is called “Quran”

5 Pillars of Islam
1. There is no God but the one true God and
Mohammed is his messenger.
2. Prayer five times a day at given times.
3. 2.5 percent of Muslims assets are given to the poor.
4. Annual pilgrimage to Mecca
5. Muslims are required to abstain from food, drink
and sexual acts from dawn to sunset.
Our religious belief, ritual, practices and customs
are all part of the expression of the Spiritual Self.
It is formed relative to its context and culture.

How can one behave responsibly online? The following are some
suggestions:
1. Do not post or send anything that will embarrass you. 
2. Avoid posting statements when experiencing strong emotions. 
3. Do not hang out with the “wrong crowd” online. 
4. Do not hang out with the “wrong crowd” offline.
5. Be careful with oversharing, especially confidential information that
may be used irresponsibly.
6. Respect other people in the online community.
