Motivational Strategies

In this classroom, a student is rewarded

with a Truffula (pom pom) to place in
our Truffula jar when they display
positive behaviors. When the Truffula
jar is filled then a pre-determined
reward is given to the whole class.

Students are also:

- Verbally Praised
- High Fived
- Given a Thumbs Up
- Asked to be a big
helper.
Hierarchy of Consequences
In this classroom we follow this hierarchy of
consequences to ensure that all students
know the consequences of their actions. This
also ensures that all teachers are fair and
consistent when delivering consequences.

The consequences in the green are a more

generalized approach but as it enters the
red it becomes more specific to the student.
