Motion

Motion is the change in the position of an object because of force.

A force can change the motion of an object.

Describing the motion of an object:

1. describing the motion of an object by its position

2. describing the motion of an object by its direction
3. describing the motion of an object by its speed
Measuring the motion of an object :

1. Measuring distance using ruler (for

short distance),
measuring tape (for longer distance) and
odometer (for very long distance)

2. Measuring speed using speedometer
