But blessed is the man who trusts in the

LORD, and whose hope or confidence

is in the Him. He will be like a tree
planted by the water that sends out its
roots by the stream or river. It does no
fear when heat comes; its leaves are
always green. It has no worries in a yea
of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
(Jeremiah 17:7&8)
TRUSTING JESUS
In order not to be defeated or
affected by negative events :
1. Stand firm trusting & hoping in Jesus
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and
lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and
He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5&6)
So do not throw away your confidence, it will
be rewarded. You need to persevere(be patient),
so that when you have done the will of God,
you may receive what He has promised.
(Hebrews 10:35&36)
2. Do not fear, worry or doubt

God said ‘Fear not, for I am with you; be not

dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen
you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with
my righteous right hand… For I, the LORD your
God, will hold your right hand, saying to you,
Fear not, I will help you.'' (Isaiah 41:10&13)

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for

he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven
and tossed by the wind… (James 1:6-8)
Surely he will never be shaken; the righteous
will be in everlasting remembrance. he will not
be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is steadfast,
trusting in the LORD. His heart is established;
he will not be afraid, until he sees his desire
upon his enemies. (Psalm 112:6-8)

3. Believe Jesus/God will do something

Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the
land, and enjoy safe pasture. Delight
yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you
the desires of your heart. Commit your way to
the LORD, trust in Him, and He He will do this.
(Psalm 37:3-5)
CONCLUSION :
But those who wait on the LORD shall renew
their strength; they shall mount up with
wings like eagles, they shall run and not be
weary, they shall walk and not faint.
(Isaiah 40:31)
I will lift up my eyes to the hills – where does
my help come from? My help comes from
the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
(Psalm 121:1&2)
