Kronenhalle

► The legendary Kronenhalle was initially a meeting

place for musicians, actors, authors, and artists.
Some of them used to pay with artwork, which is
why guests today can gaze at genuine works by
Chagall, Picasso, and Miró while dining. French-
inspired dishes and classics like “Zürcher
Geschnetzeltes” (sliced veal in gravy) are served in
a stylish ambience.
Classic and Seasonal Highlights

► The Kronenhalle offers plain traditional fare at its very

best. Seasonal dishes complement our beloved Kronenhalle
favorites such as minced veal Kronenhalle style, Balleron
sausage salad,
► Chateaubriand and our Mousse au Chocolat. Generous
portions, traditional cooking and the presentation of the
dish of the day on the trolley make the Kronenhalle
experience unparalleled.
waiters
► The white gloved waiters, all of whom I'm sure are
veterans, were gracious despite our being the only people
there in jeans. They do have a strict dress code and if we
hadn't been wearing nice sweaters, pressed jeans and nice
shoes, not sure we would have been allowed in. All the
men and women were beautifully coiffed and dressed in
serious power suits with lots of expensive, but tasteful
jewelry and watches. The food is ridiculously expensive
and very traditional Swiss, with most of the choices on the
hearty side.
► This is the best menu of the world, because
I like the food here and I would like these
types of food to be in my restaurant.
Conclusion
►I chose this
restaurant for the
artistic arrangement
and for the history of
this restaurant where
you can find the soul
of the most famous
painters through
paintings, they also
have a diverse food
for each season and
some famous chefs.
