History
• Gunungkidul was one of the poorest
District in Indonesia
• In the 80s, cacao was introduced to
Gunungkidul as an Aid Program
• Problem with the Inception of Cacao
Program made farmers hesitate to
continue
• Low number of trees in Gunungkidul

Our Story
• Ngudi Mulyo was established in … as a hamlet FO – all … hamlet
residents are our members – it did not work well

• In 2013 we proposed a partnership program with AsiaDHRRA and
Bina Desa – FFP-ASEAN Program was started in 2015
• Improve production – Improve post-harvest processing
• 2017 start the chocolate production
