How do I do and make the presentation
◦ Do not put too many information in the slides.
◦ Only show 1-2 short sentences in the slide and you do further explanation
◦ Pay attention to your audience when you present. Do not only read your notes.
◦ Also, pay attention to your gestures and how you use your power point when
explaining.
◦ Make sure to allocate the presentation equally among members. Each member
can have different scores and that is based on how good and long you present.

Popularity of rabbit farming in Indonesia
◦ Nowadays, producing rabbit is a popular farming activity in many parts of
Indonesia as a small and medium scale operation for food security and cash
income.
◦ The popularity of rabbit meat is most often seen in tourist areas such as
Lembang (West Java), Tawangmangu (Central Java), and Sarangan and Batu
(East Java).
◦ Other than for its meat, rabbits are popular in Indonesia to be used as a pet.
◦ Farmers also farm rabbits in a small scale for its manure as it is a great
fertilizer.

Cause:
Rabbits’ teeth grows throughout their lives and overgrown teeth happens because they are not given hay to
constantly grind their teeth.

Prevention and Treatment:

Provide unlimited hay.
If already happened, the teeth needs to be burred under anesthesia

Causes:
The Pasteurella multocida bacterium. It can affect the eyes, nose, and ears

Prevention and Treatment:

Reduce stress as it is a catalyst for the bacteria.
Treatment involves a long and sometimes repeated course of antibiotics.  Occasionally surgery is required
if an abscess forms.

Cause:
Hair can normally be found in a rabbit’s stomach as they self-groom and this can lead to obstruction in the
gastrointestinal tract.

Prevention and Treatment:

A high fibre diet is a great preventative measure.
Sometimes surgery is the only treatment if the hairball causes a blockage in the gut.
