 Individuals can build trust between


themselves by disclosing information about
themselves
 They can learn about themselves and come
to terms with personal issues with the help of
feedback from others
Limitations 
 Some things are perhaps better not communicated. (your
sexual behaviour, mental health problems or large scale
failures)

 Some people may pass on the information they received


further than you desire or use it in a negative way

 Some cultures have a very open and accepting approach to


feedback. Others don’t.

 Exercise caution.

 Some people take personal feedback offensively
