Numerous hotels in Macau and soon in the Philippines will be


built with Casinos as one of the entertainment activities.
 CASINO OPERATORS
Casinos have been emerging all across the globe. This are the
following activities on the Casinos :
 Table Games - players place their bets on a table as part
of the game.
 Card Games - this game involves betting against each other ,
such as poker , blackjacks and players wager against the
house.
 Slot Machines - winning depends o the combimation made
on the machines.
 Internet Gaming / E - Games - games of the Casino in on line
basis.
 Bingo - the first player to mark a complete row of numbers is
the winner.
 Race or Sport Books - Casinos establish an online games and
take percentage on amount of bets and losing bets.
 CASINO REVENUE AND SUPPORT CENTERS

In a Casino, there are Revenue Centers and Non-Gaming


Revenue Centers.

Common Revenue Centers in a Casino operation include :

 ORGANIZATION OF CASINOS

The following are the functions and duties of the operations security
including surveillance team and finance team :
 Casino Manager - responsible for all the operations of the Casinos
Table and Games
a. Monitor game operation ensure that house rules are followed.
b. Observe players behavior for signs of cheating such as marking , switching or counting cards
notify security staff of suspect cheating.
c. Resolve customer and employee complaints
d. Greet customers and secure guest feedback on services made by the comapny.
e. Establish and maintain blanks and table limits for each game.
 Pit Manager - responsible for the operation of table games and
required personnel in a designated pit.
 Pit Clerk - work in the main area where the main activities of the
Casino occur.
 Floor Person - works under the supervision of the Pit Manager.

 Dealer - directly operates and conduct the game in his assigned


gaming tables.
 Uniformed Security Officers - roam the vicinity to ensure the
guest safety and security.
 Bankroll Custodian - refers to the person incharge of the central
banking function or casino bankroll.

 Casino Cage Personnel - prepare cash banks and bank


deposit, mae customers payouts , and charge customer
winning chips for currency and customers coins.

 Cage Manager - supervises the work of a credit manager ,


who approves credit for casino customers and collecting
manager who is responsible for collecting outstanding
customer debts.
 PHILIPPINE SETTING
In the Philippines, the Philippine Amusement And
Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) overseas and regulates
gaming industry.
PAGCOR was created with the
