launching soft drinks and
Kola Real, now KR is table water on the market.

Family, being six brothers,
who with their parents founded
the Company in "the courtyard
of their house"

The first soft drinks were

marketed in beer bottles,
because the older brother of
the Añaños, Jorge Añaños,
had experience in beer
distribution
They started this way, getting
a rudimentary machine to
make soda called
"Atahualpa".

The success of this is due to the technical

training of the brothers, mostly engineers,
they achieved a drink that is pleasant to the
palate of the population, trying as much as
possible to use the least chemicals in its
manufacture, the distribution began among
the neighbors, then in the locality where they
resided and thus it was spreading little by
little.
Kola Real with the Añaños family already
has a presence in many countries in America,
expanding to Ecuador, Venezuela, Mexico,
Chile, Costa Rica, Guatemala, the
Dominican Republic, and always
maintaining the same golden rule "quality at
a fair price", the reason for its low cost. This
is partly due to the fact that they do not work
with usual franchise system, but rather the
brothers are the ones who jointly carry out
the projects to open their own facilities,
cutting many of the expenses generated by
subcontracting the product.
