Graffiti Painting

I found this assignment to be the most difficult one to do so far. It had less structure
than the draw program assignments. I felt that my lack of art skills showed more with
this assignment. I was able to locate a paint program online, Paint Instant, which was
very basic. I don’t know if a little bit more advanced program would have made it
easier as I found the tools to be rather rudimentary. I painted on the foreground first
which turned out to be a mistake, as it made it more difficult to work on the
background at the end. But I was happy to learn a new skill and that I basically got
my ideas down on the canvas.

foster independent learning and accommodate learner differences and needs.

Even though I had a difficult time with this I still found myself concentrating on each
little brush stroke and I can see why you say it silences the class. I think this would
be an excellent project for students to take on. I think it might be interesting to have
students paint an object from real life on the program and have them paint it with real
paint and paper. It would be great to compare their computer version version their
real life version. Maybe have all the kids paint the same object. It is always fun for
them to see, while they are making the same thing, how different everyone's art will be
from one another.
