Do My Dogs Have a

Favorite Color?

 The Problem

My dogs gravitate to toys that are red, but does

that mean it’s their favorite color?
 Hypothesis
Could my dogs’ preference for red toys be an
indication of their favorite color or just a
coincidence? If all things were equal, would they
still gravitate towards the color red? I believe
they might.

• Five food bowls

• Five different
colored pieces of
paper (at least)
• Dog Treats
 Process
- Put a different colored
piece of paper in each
dog bowl
- Put a dog treat in each
bowl
- Release dogs one at a
time to let them
choose which bowl to
eat out of
- Record results
