Textbooks is one of the many kinds of
instructional materials used in learning. A textbook is a collection of the knowledge, concepts, and principles of a selected topic or course. It's usually written by one or more teachers, college professors, or education experts who are authorities in a specific field MORAL VALUES IN TEXTBOOKS
Moral values in the textbook is constructed with generally
four main categories of values: a) Values related to one’s self seems to be focused on which is about attentiveness to time. b) Value to others, Loving and caring seem to be the emphasis of these values towards other people c) Values toward things, In line with the representation of the people’s occupation discussed above, the discourse of character value of being attentive to things around does represent the mid-high social class. CONCLUSION Moral values are a form of objective description of the side of truth that is always carried out by a person in a social environment, therefore principles and beliefs about behavior that relate to right or wrong emerge. This definition is in line from various languages to the explanation of moral syllables, such as in Greek "Ethics", Arabic "Akhlak", and Indonesian "Glory". Textbook is an almost universal element of English language teaching. It can be a guided for the teacher about how to teach in the classroom which is appropriate with the syllabus and curriculum that is used by the teacher. Moreover, course books should be in line with the goals of the institutions, objectives of the language program, and the needs of the student attending the program. Consequently, there will be no teaching-learning seems complete until it has its relevant textbook. Textbooks do play role an important role in different levels of education. Thanks you
