tissue samples
IF WE KNOW THE ORGANS
WE COULD FIND THE TISSUE
ORIGIN
LIVER
The liver consists of 2 main lobes.
Both are made up of 8 segments that
consist of 1,000 lobules (small
lobes). These lobules are connected
to small ducts (tubes) that connect
with larger ducts to form the
common hepatic duct.
IF WE KNOW THE ORGANS
WE COULD FIND THE TISSUE
ORIGIN

SPINAL CORD
The spinal cord’s function reflects its
anatomy. It is essential for
conducting impulses from the brain to
the body and generating reflexes that
make our daily functioning smooth.

ADIPOSE
TISSUE
Adipose tissue, body fat, or simply fat
is a loose connective tissue
composed mostly of adipocytes.[1] In
addition to adipocytes, adipose tissue
contains the stromal vascular fraction
(SVF) of cells including
preadipocytes, fibroblasts, vascular
endothelial cells and a variety of
immune cells such as adipose tissue
macrophages.

“Cells can change their appearance depending of
their funtion, the tissue they are located and the
process that happen in that organ. A cell with a
cearting fearture to do a certain job is adapted for its
function”
DIFFERENT KIND OF CELLS
There are many types of cells, each
one with different developed
estructures depending of the work
they will have, here you are some of
them:

● Muscle fiber
● Neurons
● Hepatic cells
● Osteocytes
● Blood cells
● Enterocytes

We will describe them one by one

HEPATOCYTES

They have many metabolic

funtions, so they are involved
in: Are the cells that build
• Protein synthesis the tissue of the liver.
• Protein storage
• Transformation of
carbohydrates

Hepatocytes reprecent
80% of the liver mass
OSTEOCYTES

Osteocytes do not divide

and have an average half
life of 25 years. An osteocyte is an
oblate shaped type of
bone cell with dendritic
processes

is the most commonly

found cell in mature bone
tissue, and can live as long
as the organism itself.

ENTEROCYTES
Enterocytes are
columnar cells that
form most of the
epithelium of the gut
The main function of intestine
enterocytes is to
absorb molecules from
the gut lumen and
their transport toward
the surrounding
connective tissue and
blood vessels. They are more
abundant in the small
intestine than in the
large intestine and
appendix
