Descriptive Hypothesis Test

for One Sample
Parametric Statistic

 Parametric Statistic used to test descriptive hypothesis

if the data is interval or ratio t-test one sample

n
1. Test for Two Part
If: Ho is equal with and Ha is not equal with
Example:
H0 : Employee of the store can stand for 8 hours
Ha : Employee of the store can stand not for 8 hours

H0 : µ = 8 hours
Ha : µ ≠ 8 hours
2. Test for one part
• a. Test for left part
• If Ho ≥ X and Ha < X
• Example:
• H0 : µ0 ≥ 400 hours
• Ha : µ < 400 hours
• b. Test for right part
• If Ho ≤ X and Ha > X
• Example:
• H0 : µ0 ≤ 100 kg/day
• Ha : µ > 100 kg/day
B. Nonparametric Statistic

It used to test descriptive hypothesis of one sample for

nominal/discrete ot ordinal data

1. Binomial Test
It used to test hypothesis if in population there are two
class which data is nominal and have sample less than
25
N
P(x) = Px QN-x
x
2. Chi Square (x2)

Chi Square (x2) one sample is one of statistic technique to test

hypothesis if in population there are two or more class and data is
nominal and heve many sample

 

3. Run Test

To test Descriptive statistic

(one sample) if the scale is
ordinal which used to
measure one issue.

Test held on with measure

population randomly based
on data observation through
sample data
