network. Online learning is also known as electronic learning, e-learning, online learning, internet-enabled

Reading Comprehension

Definition: Oakley (2011) defines reading comprehension on as the desired the result of reading and can be
defined as the skill of combining background knowledge with reading texts.

The Improtance of Reading Comprehension: Kintsch (2004) notes that it requires identifying and
understanding the important ideas of texts and making inferences based on both texts and background knowledge.

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT

Researcher apply tests to assess reading


comprehension especially in selective reading using
Google Classroom. The possible task that will be
using for pre-test and post-test is multiple choice
question referring to the Longman TOEFL counted 20
questions items.

DATA ANALYSIS TECHNIQUES


The researcher will use the reading text taken from
Longman TOEFL Text, the correct answer was
scored 5 points and the incorrect answer was scored
2 points. The highest score would be 100 points and
the lowest be 2 points.
