INTRODUCTION
• Site visit for Working Drawing class 2 (DCA 30123) was arranged by Ms. Wan Nur Hasinah and Mrs. Masita on 8
Sept 2020. The site location is in Kuantan, Pahang. Because all students only go through online classes due to
the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have selected a site from one of our classmates and the lecturer sent
5 student representatives who are in Kuantan to do the site visit on 9 Sept 2020. Further discussions were held
on 10 Sept 2020 through online classes at Microsoft Teams and a total of 32 students attended.
• 5 students consisting of 2 boys and 3 girls. They split up to do some survey work around the site. A group of
women led to the site and began taking pictures and measuring the drain at the front of the site. A group of
men moved to the site in the afternoon to measure the TNB sub station located in the housing behind the site.
• The purpose of the site visit is to identify the site position, main road, have facilities or not, know the bad view
and good view, the area around the site, and what is related to site analysis.
SETBACK
A setback is the distance which a building or other structure is set back from a street or road, a river or other
stream, a shore or flood plain, or any other place which is deemed to need protection. Depending on the
jurisdiction, other things like fences, landscaping, septic tanks, and various potential hazards or nuisances
might be regulated. Setbacks are generally set in municipal ordinances or zoning. Setbacks along state,
provincial, or federal highways may also be set in the laws of the state or province, or the federal government.

drain is 136 cm including the lip of the drain. The width of the driveway from the main road is 720 cm.
BOUNDARY LINE
A boundary is a line that divides one area from another. It may also be called a border and defines the extent of one or
more areas that are adjacent or in close proximity.
Boundaries can be defined physically by coastlines, rivers, roads, walls, fences and lines painted on the ground, or they can
have no manifestation other than on maps, plans, charts and legal documentation. Boundaries between counties,
administrative regions and nation states often appear only as lines on maps.
Boundaries are often the subject of disputes and may have perimeter security to prevent unauthorised access.
