OBTAINING THE ARBITRARY

CONSTANTS A & B
• These constants can be evaluated
when sufficient information is
provided. They are usually found from
the complete general solution y = CF
+PI.
• After the arbitrary constants have
been found and inserted in the
general solution, what is now obtained
is the Particular Solution (PS).
