 Fraktur adalah terputusnya kontinuitas jaringan
tulang yang umumnya disebabkan oleh rudapaksa
(Mansjoer et al, 2000).
Sedangkan menurut Linda Juall C. dalam buku
DEFENISI Nursing Care Plans and Dokumentation menyebut
kan bahwa Fraktur adalah rusaknya kontinuitas
tulang yang disebabkan tekanan eksternal yang
datang lebih besar dari yang dapat diserap oleh
tulang.
 Etiologi

1. Kekerasan langsung
Bersifat fraktur terbuka dengan garis
patah melintang atau miring.
2. Kekerasan tidaklangsung
Kekerasan tidak langsung menyebabkan
patah tulang ditempat yang jauh dari
tempat terjadinya kekerasan.
