INTRODUCTION
 The name of the
organization is ASTRA PLC.
 The title of this project is
the launching of a new
health and fitness app.
 The project involves the
launching of a new health
and fitness app by ASTRA
PLC for diversifying their
portfolio in order to enhance
customer base in UK.
 The duration of this project
will be 3 months.
 The project contract is given
to the Project development
Manager of ASTRA PLC.
WHAT THE APP DO
 It allows the users to set the
fitness goals or targets.
 It reminds the individuals of
the health and fitness goals
and prompts them to follow
their goals effectively.
 This app will provide tools and
information such as the
calorie calculator tracking,
sleep calculator and diet
measurement.
 This will app have the virtual
trainer who plans the
workouts and provide
coaching to the users.
 This app help in sharing of the
progress on social media for
facilitating healthy change in
behaviour of the users.
WHY SHOULD IT BE BUILT?
 To diversify their portfolio.
 It helps in boosting the brand image of ASTRA PLC.
 It allows for much more variety and various options for the
products and services which are to be provided by Astra PLC.
 It will help in increasing profitability indicating the increase in
sales and revenue of ASTRA PLC.
 The app is built for developing and maintaining strong brand
equity for the products which are to be offered by Astra PLC.
 This app will help in reducing the risk factors as well.

keeping all the stakeholders updated.
 Design and compatibility issues: The design and
compatibility issues can be eliminated by
designing a simple and robust design, using of
new version of software and building a
blueprint of a design which is needed to be
approved.

 The app will be built upon simple and robust
design.
 The app will be built by powerful brand Astra
PLC in UK.
 The app will be user friendly and responsive
to the needs and demands of the users.
 The app will be successful as it influences the
mindset of the potential target customers.
CONCLUSION
It is summarised that the app will be allowing the
users to target the goals they have developed for
them. It makes the services users to track the
calories burnt, amount of sleep they take and
measuring the diets.
It will have the presence of virtual trainer who
coaches the users and sharing the progress on social
media and having the range of features such as
socialising as well as offering education to the users.
It is concluded that risk factors can be reduced. It
developed strong brand equity as well as boosting f
the profitability and allowing variety and options for
the products and services by ASTRA PLC. It had
identified the risks of cost overruns, delays in app
design and design and compatibility issues.
