OCCUPIED BED
 PREPARE THE INSTRUMENT

• Fold the bed sheets like folding the flag.

• Arrange the instruments systematically
• Put the blanket at the bottom
• Then put the bottom sheet
• Next, put the under layer.
• And then put the bed sheet
• Put the pillow case on the top and don’t
forget to bring the basket
WASH HANDS WITH 7 STEPS AND DRY IT
• Put on the clean gloves and mask

• Inform concent to the patient

• place the instruments near the patient.

• Put on the curtain for the patients privacy

• Support the patient neck .

• Take off the pillow from the patient.

• change the dirty pillow case with the clean
pillow case

• put back the pillow to its place

ask the patient to turn to the left

put off the dirty bed sheet, under layer, and

bottom sheet, and roll them at the center of the
bed.
Put on the clean bed sheet, under layer, and bottom
sheet and put the excessive folds at the center of the
bed
then, ask the patient to turn to the opposite
position, and the nurse turn to other side of
the bed
next, remove the dirty bed sheet, under layer, and
the top sheet, and then put them in the basket.
After that, put on the clean of them.
and then, ask the patient to turn to the
normal position.

• tuck in all around of the bed sheet and the

bottom sheet
Fold bed sheets at the corners of the bed at
45-degree.

• Replace dirty blanket with a clean sheet.

• After that, inform the patient that the procedure has been
done

• Next, put off the gloves

• The last, wash hand in 7 steps and dry it.
