Perception
Perception is primarily an individual process so that
different people may perceive an identical situation
differently.

“All that glitters is not gold” & “Things are not what they
seem” are all reflections of various perceptions about
the same situation.

People behave on what they perceive reality to be &


not necessarily as what reality is.
Attitude
 Attitudes are evaluative statements indicating one’s feeling
either favourably or unfavourably towards persons, objects,
events or situations.

 Attitude is very complex cognitive process just like


personality of an individual.

 POSITIVE ATTITUDE :- Positive mental attitude is a


psychological term which describes a mental phenomenon
in which the central idea is that one can increase
achievement through optimistic thought processes.
 NEGATIVE ATTITUDE :-A negative attitude is
characterized by a great disdain for everything.
Someone who constantly points out the negative in
everything.
Values
Values represent basic convictions that ’A specific
mode of conduct or end-state of existence is
personally or socially preferable to an opposite or
converse mode of conduct or end-state of existence.

Value is a judgmental element of what is


right, good, or desirable.
