 Main challenge for rural business economy is to transfer the 80%
population from agricultural based economy to industrial based
village economy.

 The Ministry of Rural Infrastructure under Government of India

and the Planning Commission of India, envisages the development
of Rural Business and Economy of India on the following lines -

b) Flexible financial loans and grants
c) Subsidies
d) Roads
e) Housing
f) Drinking water supply
g) Rural electrification
