Hebrews 11:30-31
 To reinforce the fact
the that salvation by
faith alone is NOT
something that New
Testament invents, but
is the age old.
But we do it,
because God
said he do it.
I. The Illustration
of the Courageous
Faith
 If it is
true faith,
it will
obey any
price.
 True faith will
demonstrate courage
in the face of

opposition, any
threat, any suffering.
True faith is MOST of
all courageous.

This is where it really

demonstrates itself.
 There are temporary
“followers”
“believers”
and there are pressures that
come upon all of us that
inevitably reveal who is real and
who is not.
 I would say that
obedience to this
command would be a
courageous faith.
 We need to obey
because the
consequences are
so severe.

3.Faith that risks
4.Faith that rests
II. The Demonstration
of Courageous Faith -
Obedience
 Salvation comes to those
who obey. Everything after
that in life of faith is obey
what God has commanded.
Anybody who is saved obeys
the Word of God. That is the
pattern of his life.
It is NOT the perfection of
his life, but the direction of
his life.
 I should believe by now
that God punishes sin. He
has the right to punish
sin whenever and
wherever He desires.
Rahab shows
the faith that
has the
courage to
stand in
midst of dire
danger.
 Faith does
not crumble

because the
circumstances are
threatening or
difficult.
