• Social Surveys collect mainly quantitative but also


qualitative data from {usual representative} samples of
people, by means of their verbal responses to uniform
sets of systematic , structured questions presented either
by interviewers or in self-completion questionnaires.

INTRODUCTION
• One of the common methods of diagnosing and solving of
social problems is that of undertaking surveys. These survey are
of various types and as such these considerably help in solving
each type of problem. This method of social research has been
in vogue to a varying degree since the times past and still
continues in use.
