Human resource management (HRM) is the set of activities


directed at attracting, developing, and maintaining the effective
workforce necessary to achieve a firm’s objectives. Recruiting and
selecting employees, providing training and development,
appraising performance, and providing compensation and benefits
are all part of HRM. 
IMPORTANCE OF HRM

Behind production of every product or service there is a human


mind, effort and man hours (working hours). No product or service
can be produced without help of human being. Human being is
fundamental resource for making or construction of anything.
Every organization desire is to have skilled and competent people
to make their organization competent and best.

1. Human Resource Planning

Human resource planning is a systematic and strategic process


aimed at evaluating the current state of an organization’s human
resources and predicting its future workforce requirements. Also
known as workforce planning, human resource planning helps
organizations recruit, retain, and optimize the deployment of
people they require to meet strategic business objectives and
respond to changes in the market and the general environment.

• Unarguably the most important function in the HR domain, it


requires you to understand a company’s talent requirement,
design job descriptions, lists the openings on various job portals,
conduct interviews/assessment tests and selects the qualified
candidates.

objective of this Training is to enhance
employees’ skills behavior and expertise by putting them into
learning new techniques of doing work.

processes in place to manage particular tasks

Performance Management helps you track your employees'


performance and tells you whether or not they need extra support,
can handle a higher-level training, or deserve a raise. It is important
to have a structured Performance Management and tracking process
to maintain a high standard for your organization.

6. Employee Relation

Employee Relationship Management or ERM is the process of


managing relationships in an organization. These relationships can
be between the organization and employees as well as coworkers
working at the same level.
For employees to be productive, they need to have a working
environment that allows them to be creative. When employees have
an easy-going relationship with others at work, it will show in their
performance and productivity. There will be more communication,
collaboration, and cooperation.
