CHOCOLATE SYRUP

Cocoa powder 180g
Sucrose 600g
Glucose 180g
Sodium Chloride 2g
Glycerin 50mL
Vanillin 0.2g
Preparation
Sodium Benzoate
Purified water qs ad

#13 Procedure
• Triturate cocoa and sucrose
• In 20mL of hot water dissolve glucose, vanillin, sodium chloride, sodium benzoate
• Add glycerin to the solution
• Add the powdered cocoa and sucrose to the hot solution
• Add enough water to make the final solution
• Boil the solution for 5 minutes
• Place in appropriate bottle and label
