Who should maintain
personal hygiene?
Everybody who enters a
production facility SHOULD have
basic personal hygiene.
E.g., Production staff,
Maintenance staff, Visitors,
Resource suppliers, etc.

Follow these rules to make
sure the food you are handling
is fit to consume!
• Maintain personal hygiene.
• Wear fresh and clean aprons, gloves, mask
and head gear(PPE).
• Not wear the PPEs while using the
restrooms.
• Not take electronic devices where a process
is going on.
• Wear clean Footwear while entering the
production facility.
• Not eat or drink in the production facility
• Not smoke/chew tobacco in the facility
• Not touch products/equipment's with bare
hands.
• Report if ill. (Specially if it involves gastric
issues)
• Not keep wounds open.
Can anyone explain what each sign means?
Air/Dust
& • Maintain the production facility and the
surroundings clean.
Water • Sweep and mop frequently.
• Clean air filters regularly.
• Use clean water for mopping.
• Use potable water if coming in contact with
product.
Raw Material

Store it in a separate area

• Final Product
• Windy/open areas
 Keep all pests away!
• Insects can enter the equipment and

• Have a bath before and after coming to production facility.
• Trim nails.
• Avoid keeping long hair (Including beard/moustache)
• Brush teeth
• Do not spit or cough in open
• Wash hands regularly
• After using restroom
• After touching mouth/nose/ear/hair etc.
• Before and after meals
• In-between glove changes
• After touching waste, etc
• Wear clean clothes and shoes and Do not share aprons!
