About itachi
Itachi was the principal kid brought into the world to Mikoto and Fugaku Uchiha. His youth was set
apart with viciousness: when he was four years of age, the Third Shinobi World War pursued and he
saw direct a large number of the conflict's setbacks. The demise and obliteration he encountered at
such a youthful age damaged Itachi and made him a radical, prompting him to prepare constantly to
accomplish his fantasy about turning into a ninja among ninja to delete battling from the world
. At age 5, in the wake of turning into an older sibling to Sasuke, Itachi was drawn nearer by Shisui,
who proposed to prepare together. Before long, the two turned out to be dearest companions, framing a
sibling-like bond as they kept on showing the other new deceives. During the Nine-Tailed Demon
Fox's Attack, he was home alone taking care of Sasuke, trailed by Itachi safeguarding Mikoto from

brother viewing him as a model to live up to. Itachi spent a great deal of time with
Sasuke, training with him and giving him the recognition their father did not. However,
for all the attention he received, few truly understood Itachi, believing his isolation to be
a result of the gap between his abilities and theirs and not his dissatisfaction with the
shinobi's life of conflict.
Eventually, the Uchiha's disdain for their unfair treatment led them to plan a coup dfétat.
Fugaku, head of the Uchiha and the coup's chief conspirator, encouraged Itachi's
advancement into the Anbu's ranks as a means of spying on the village. Itachi, however,
knew an Uchiha coup would lead to intervention from other villages and ultimately start
another World War, something he could not support. He instead became a double agent,
reporting the Uchiha's actions to the Third hokage and the Konoha village in the hopes it
would help them find a peaceful resolution.
Itachi shared the burden of betraying his clan with Shisui. But as time went on it became increasingly
clear that peace could not be achieved. Shisui intended to use his Kotoamatsukami on the Uchiha's
leaders to compel them to negotiate, but his right eye was stolen by Danzō before he had a chance. His
own options exhausted, Shisui entrusted his remaining eye to Itachi and begged him to protect the
village and their family name before drowning himself in the Naka River.
. Itachi was anguished by Shisui's death, enough to awaken his Mangekyō Sharingan. When the
following day some Uchiha, already suspicious of Itachi, accused him of murdering Shisui and staging
a suicide, Itachi lost his composure and attacked them, defeating them easily. A rift was created
between Itachi and his family, and his warnings to them to reconsider what they were doing fell on
deaf ears. At age 12, he was promoted to Anbu Captain, with his publicly disclosed promotion age
being 13 due to Danzō's request and Hiruzen's acceptance
Review
He wasn’t an evil being willing to destroy anything that didn’t align with his idea of right neither was
he a kind and noble guy who did everything for his beloved brother and village.

Itachi was ordered to assassinate his clan, it wasn’t his choice entirely but it wasn’t like he had no
choice. Despite statements of his pacifist nature, he chose the violent means to end the ongoing
conflict without trying peaceful measures and knowing that the negotiations attempt was hindered.

It wasn’t a matter of right or wrong, it was either Village or Clan for him and he chose Village.
He loved Sasuke without a doubt but in his ignorance, he dragged Sasuke into the very mess he felt
guilty for and scarred Sasuke for life. He withheld the truth from Sasuke and instead drove him to
vengeance without considering the consequences.

He admitted all of this to Sasuke and apologized. And didn’t even expect forgiveness but Sasuke still
forgave him eventually.…

I think Itachi can be considered a Tragic Hero. All of his misery and tragic life were results of his own
actions and that even extended to the people he cared about most.

Itachi Uchiha was the definition of what a true shinobi should be like. To protect the village, he was
willing to lay down his life, paint himself as a villain, and live in disgrace and that is exactly what
makes him one of the greatest Naruto characters to ever exist.
