 Acceptance
You should recognise that everyone is
different. These differences make us unique.
Accept these differences.

Everyone wants to be accepted in their class,

among friends and by other adults. It makes
us feel part of a team.
 Praise
Let people know that they are doing well by
giving them praise.

“Wow John you have really worked hard on

your story it is amazing,” beamed Mrs
Botfield.

What can you do that no-one else can do?

If you think you have worked really hard at

something then appreciate how well YOU
have done. Maybe even share your work with
others.
 Reward
How can you reward someone for doing a
good job?
 Encourage
Support each other in and out of school. If
people encourage you and cheer you on you
will succeed and so will they.
 Compliment
If you can see someone has worked hard at
something then compliment them.
Well done! Brilliant! That’s fantastic!
 Interest
Show that you care, listen to people when they are telling
you something that THEY think is important.
Show that you are interested (even if you are not) otherwise
the other person may feel rejected, hurt and feel that you
don’t care.
 Achievement
Celebrate your success
Celebrate other peoples successes
