There are hundreds of schools, colleges and
universities, including some of the most famous
in the world.
*Private/Public Schools
Parents pay for their children's' education.
A primary school or elementary school is a school in
which children receive primary or elementary education
from the ages of about 5 to 11.

English, Mathematics, Science,
Information Technology
Religious Education (RE),
Design and Technology, History,
Geography, Art, Music and
Physical Education (PE).
* School usually starts at nine o'clock in the morning
and finishes at about three o'clock in the afternoon. Students have to
wear a school uniform.
* School starts at 8:55 with registration.
* At 9:10 they go to assembly. In assembly they sing
songs, listen to a story and pray.
* Their first lesson begins at 9:20.
* They have break time from 10:20 until 10:35. During break time, the
children have a snack and play games out doors.
* Afterwards, they go back in for another lesson until lunch at 12:00.
* Afternoon lessons begin at 1:10 and end at 3:15, when the children go home.
* They do not have a break in the afternoon.
A secondary school is

education, between
the ages of 11 and 16
or 11 and 18, after
primary school and
before higher
education.
