a. Deletion Rule
Deleting the propositions that is irrelevant with
another propositions that used in discourse
Example :
- A girl in a yellow dress passed by
1. A girl passed by
2. She was wearing a dress
3. The dress was yellow
(2) And (3) can be deleted and use only (1) as the
preposition
b. Generalization Rule
Change the specific one into general
preposition.
Example :
Lea is writing and Noah is reading a book
- Can be simplified as:
They are studying
c. Construction Rule
One proposition can be construct from several
prepositions.
Example :
Emma went to the class. She found that the
teacher was already conduct the class, and the
teacher asked her to stand up in front of the
classroom.
- It can be construct as :
Emma was late to come to the school
