Raz-Plus

• Raz-Plus is a similar program to Raz-Kids as it includes both Reading A-Z and

Raz-Kids with some extra features.
• Raz-Plus cost for a yearly membership is roughly $228 for a classroom. The
cost is a lot more compared to the other services as it combines both Raz-
Kids and Reading A-Z into one user interface.
• Raz-Plus offers many features that will help any student with any disability a
student may have. For students who are visually impaired, they offer books
that can be followed along with audio books or the books to be zoom
magnified to make it easier for students to see and read.
• Student progress is tracked, allowing lessons to be tailored to the individual
student. Reports are collected and data is compiled for teachers to assess
learning progress, allowing teachers to see the strengths and weakness of the
students. This is crucial for teachers to help students as much as possible to
encourage growth.
• This program can be accessed almost on any device such as iOS, Android, and
Computers, and Kindle Fires.
Albert IO

• Albert IO is a software that prepares students for AP,

Common Core, NGSS, SAT, ACT, and many more. Albert
IO is effective in tracking progress allowing students to
understand the coursework better and improve.
Because progress is tracked, teachers can understand
what work is needed to be done to help each student
improve to better prepare for the classes that they are
taking.
• For schools and districts, it is $15 dollars per student but
there is a bulk discount if there are over 100 students
that you’re paying for. For schools and districts prices,
they last for one year. For a single teacher, it is $400
dollars for up to 20 students. Single teacher license lasts
until 6/30.For students, it is $19-$79 depending on the
subject. Student prices vary depending on the subject.

Go Guardian

• Go Guardian is an app that allows teachers to monitor

internet/app usage on student devices. This allows
teachers to ensure that their students are focused on
class instruction instead of doing things that students
shouldn’t be doing. Go Guardian lets teachers control
student computer screens as well.
• The price for Go Guardian starts at $7.50 per year.

Wizer

• Wizer is an online program that compiles thousands of

worksheets, all created by teachers. The worksheets are
automatically graded which saves a lot of time for
teachers. There are many great worksheets for any
subjects allowing teachers to find any worksheet that
works with their lessons. If they are unable to find any
worksheet to fit their needs, teachers can create their
own. This program is very strong if we undergo another
quarantine, allowing students to do their work remotely
in the safety of their own homes.
• Standard account is free while the Premium membership
is $30 for one year.

Jamboard

• Jamboard is a digital whiteboard that allows students

to collaborate collectively for classroom objectives.
Students are able to post pictures, include text boxes,
insert sticky notes, and many more that is just like
students working together on a physical whiteboard.
The whiteboard updates in real time and can be
accessed from anywhere at anytime.
• Jamboard is free for all users that sign in using a
google account.

Socrative

• Socrative is an app that has multiple useful features. This

app can be accessed on all devices, allowing any student
with a device to be able to use. Socrative allows teachers
to give student quizzes/test and get instant feedback.
You can also have bell-ringer assignments to get students
engaged in the lessons and easily broadcast a class
discussion for all students to participate in. The best
feature that this app has to offer is Space Race. Like
Kahoot, students can compete with one another to see
who can answer the most consecutive correct answers.
• There is both a free option and a Pro-option. The Pro-
option cost $89.99 a year.

Quizlet

• Quizlet is an app that its main feature allows anyone

to create flashcards. You can create these flashcards
to meet any need possible. In order to help you
memorize the information on the flashcards, there
are a plethora of different features. You have features
that help you memorize each term included and
Quizlet even allows you to create a test to fit your
needs. This is a great tool to memorize a lot of
information and prepares you for tests.
• This app is free on all devices, but a premium service
is offered that cost approximately $48 a year.

Quizizz

• Quizizz is a website that allows students to compete

in answering questions that are created by the
teacher. The more answers that is answered correctly
as well as the speed the question is answer increases
the number of points that a student will earn. The
more points equals a higher placement. Quizizz offers
real time feedback as well as it allows teachers to see
what questions students are most commonly missing.
• Quizizz is free for both students and teachers.

Desmos

• Desmos has multiple features that lets teachers create

interactive lessons and aide students with
mathematical tools. Teachers can host class lessons,
allowing students to join through a code. These
lessons allows all students to actively participate
while a lesson is being taught. Students are also able
to use Desmos for more advanced math tools. They
can use Desmos as a simple calculator or even a
graphing calculator.

Prezi

• Prezi is a website that allows users to create intuitive

slideshow presentations. There are many different
templates to choose from allowing any user to
creatively express themselves. Prezi does offer other
services such as Prezi Video and Prezi Design which
will come at a higher price if included.
• Prezi offers many different services with the most
basic one being free. For a plus account, it will cost
$15 a month.
