What is Facebook?

Facebook is a social networking website where users can post

comments, share photos, and post links to news or other
interesting content on the web, watch short-form video or
send text and voice messanges to family or friends.

Originally designed for college students, Facebook was created

in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg while he was enrolled at Harvard
University.

Today, Facebook is the world's largest social network, with

more than 3 billion users worldwide.

are uploaded on Facebook. That means, about
245,000 photos are uploaded each minute in
Facebook. On average, 1 million friend
requests are sent in each minute.
• Facebook has been banned in many countries
both temporarily and permanently. However,
Facebook is permanently banned in China,
Syria, North Korea, and Iran.

Since when do we use this site?
We started using Facebook since childhood, from the age of 11, in 2013.

What attracted us to this site?

At first, we were attracted to the games and design. After that, we found a way to
communicate more easily with our classmates and family.

Communications and friends

Being an online social networking platform, we became friends with people from all
over the world with whom we made close friends.

Facebook dependent
• We search this site so often because it has
become an addiction. It is a common thing on a
normal day. Scrolling through the hours on
Facebook is nothing strange. This site offers you
the opportunity to assert yourself, offers you a
new life in other words. This premise motivates
many to make a living from it. We search facebook
to relax, to find out the latest news from all sites,
to interact with people, basically it makes all these
things much easier which brings me happiness.
