It's no secret that housing prices
have drastically increased in the
past year due to inbound
migration -- such is seen in the
chart below.

Despite the increase in minimum wage --

along with the rise of price in the
housing market --, can the average
family support themselves in Arizona?

Though the graph to the right depicts a rather unsteady price

history, both of these homes have an evident increase in price
since 2020 -- due that year being when Arizona increased to
64% inbound migration (Az Business). The influx of migration to
Arizona means more people to house, and therefore, an increase
in housing prices -- as more demand creates more of the product
and a higher price on the product.
 Living Wage

With this drastic increase in housing prices, due to the same increase of
migration to Arizona, will the minimum wage still be enough to support
families? What are the other causes of this issue? As of September 2021,
the minimum wage has changed to $12.80 an hour -- that being $2,080 a
month and $24,960 a year (Gedno)
